Strategy Design
Strategy is about successful survival. Strategic awareness - knowing what the strategic issues are - is independent of corporate size. An organisation with a small team will also rarely achieve its long term goals, if employees are heading in contrary directions. For us, strategy design implies an exploration of the terrain in which our clients will manoeuvre in the future. However, strategy development on its own is insufficient, because although many organisations formulate a strategy plan, they struggle realising it. Hence, we we will accompany our clients every step of the challenging way in realising strategies.
We are absolutely convinced that successful strategy designs require a simultaneous examination of an organisation´s structure, its systems and its culture. According to our experience, a negligence of one of these three areas will result in inadequate outcomes. Corporations are social systems with their individual history. This historical background also influences an organisation´s future, and thus needs to be taken into consideration.
We termed this consultancy area “Strategy Design“, since we believe that a design process is particularly suitable representing and implementing the complex and turbulent environments of our clients within a strategy. For us, strategy design is an explorative, qualitative and at the same time systematic approach, which evolves over time. This process will be issue rather than calendar-driven. The aim is not to control strategy, but to nurture a culture of a learning organisation that copes with strategic issues successfully.
Our offer for strategy work
Exploration, description and illustration of the organisation´s identity: "what is the essence of our being?“, “what do we stand for?“, “what meaning do we create?“. From there, we develop a strategy, which is not guided by trends and short-term thinking.
Assistance with the implementation of the developed strategy by means of trainings, coachings and the application of adequate methods and tools.
